Kwara State Students Stipend AbdulRazaq approves the removal of the N10,000 in aid for Kwara students. We are delighted to inform you that the Kwara State Governor has ordered that students of Kwara origin enrolled in publicly owned higher institutions get N10,000 apiece.
The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) Office would distribute a stipend of N10,000 per agent for specific kinds of security personnel designated as the first line of defense. The clearance for student support, which is described as one-time in nature, differs from the former bursary award, which only applied to university students in their final year. The Governor increased the bursary payout for final-year students from the customary N5,000 to N10,000.
A government committee led by Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja, chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), will oversee the coordination of the extra support. He will be assisted by representatives from the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) and National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in Kwara State, as well as officials from the Ministry of Tertiary Institution, the Bursary Department, and the Ministry of Finance.
All students who qualify for a state scholarship will be given access to a web link that they can use to apply for financial aid at a later date by providing the necessary information and documentation.
