Boyoz bread Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
- 1 glass of water
- 4 tablespoon butter
How to make Boyoz bread
- Mix all the dry ingredients till they’re evenly distributed(flour, sugar, salt)
- Add water gradually to form your dough (let this be in a controlled manner because the dough has to be malleable but not wet or gooey)
- Sprinkle very light flour on the countertop to stop it from sticking, crush the dough with your hand on the countertop and continue to knead.
- When the dough is ready, divide it into 4 equal parts and make it into a round shape.
- Cover the dough bowl you kneaded and let it rest for half an hour.
- At the end of this period, flour one of the dough on the counter lightly and open it as a plate by pressing with your hand.
- Put 2 spoons of butter slightly cooler than room temperature into it and open another dough of the same size and cover it.
- Cover the edges by pressing well, apply a very light oil with your hand on the bottom, and put it on a tray.
- Prepare the other dough in this way, cover them with plastic wrap or stretch film, and rest for 30-45mins.
- After 30-45mins, you will take one of the resting dough on the counter which you greased lightly, and press them with your hands to form a plate-like shape
- Prepare the others in this way and cook them at 200 degrees until they turn pink.
