- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 14 oz. steak
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 400 gram can diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped basil, plus extra, sliced, to serve
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 50 gram feta, finely diced
- green salad, to serve
How to make Pizziola step by step
- In a large frying pan, heat half of the oil on high.
- Season steak and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, or until done to your liking. Place on a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
- Heat the remaining oil on medium heat. Sauté the garlic for 30 seconds. Cook for 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook, covered, for 1-2 minutes, or until steaks are heated through.
- Serve the steak on plates. Spread the sauce on top and top with the feta. Serve alongside a green salad.
