- 1 cup Bamboo Shoots, sliced
- 2 Scallions, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil
- 1 tablespoon Vegan Fish Sauce or Braggs Liquid Aminos
- 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil,toasted
- 1 teaspoon fresh Ginger, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes, crushed
How to make Ika Salad step by step
- In a medium sauce pan, combine the vegan calamari, instant wakame, dried mushrooms (kikurage), and bamboo shoots with enough water to cover.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cover and cook until the dried vegetables have rehydrated and the calamari is tender.
- Off the heat. Rinse with cold water after draining.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the remaining ingredients.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving, covered.
