THE CDCFIB UPDATE OVERVIEW:
- Circular Release: In a circular titled βRe: Status Report of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB)β, the Board has shared new details regarding the upcoming 2025 recruitment exercise for the four paramilitary services under its jurisdiction.
- Advertisement Period: The CDCFIB is seeking a waiver to cut the required advertisement period from six weeks to three weeks in national newspapers.
- Government Approval: Mr. President has approved the recruitment of 30,150 personnel across four services, plus 209 additional staff for the CDCFIB Secretariat.
