Banana Grits endnote

Grits are usually served with hot butter and salt, but they can also be enjoyed in other ways. One good example of this are banana grits, which have bananas as their main ingredient instead of cornmeal. It’s easier to make than you might think – all you need to do is add bananas to your regular grits recipe, and let it simmer for about half an hour in low heat until the fruit has cooked well into the cereal. You can eat them on their own or with milk and sugar if you prefer something sweeter.
